Procurement Manager

Client:
Our client is a leading multi disciplinary Engineering consultancy who provides specialized and innovative services across major resources and materials handling projects. Currently involved in exciting precious metals, iron ore and coal projects, a fantastic opportunity exists for a Procurement Manager to join the Perth team. 

Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 -10 years + experience within Procurement positions possessing a strong track record within the mining industry 
  • Previous EPCM experience a strong advantage 
  • A strong track record within Procurement processes including vendor selection, tender selection and evaluation, contracts, logistics & purchasing within the resources industry 
  • Previous experience managing & maintaining a register for preferred suppliers & subcontractors. Management of project risk is essential 
  • Excellent leadership, client liaison & negotiation skills 
  • Strong reporting skills & decision making capabilities required 
Attractive long term contract position & offices located just outside of Perth CBD
