Project Manager

  • Leading Engineering & Construction contractor
  • Currently involved in major WA Iron Ore project expansion
  • Permanent staff position & Perth CBD location with some site travel
Client:
Our client is a Nationally recognised Engineering and Construcion contractor who provide a vast array of effective civil, mechanical, electrical and maintenance solutions to the local & international resources sector.

Recently been awarded the structural and mechanical construction package for a significant WA Iron Ore project expansion, they now require a Project Manager to join the Perth team.
 
Requirements:
  • Preferably 7 - 10 years plus experience within Project Management of large scale minerals processing plant & mining construction projects with formal engineering qualifications preferably in Mechanical or Structural
  • Previous mining contractor experience essential
  • A track record in planning, contracts administration and resource allocation for tasks
  • A background in management of budgets and Project Controls
  • Excellent client skills and management of project personnel
  • Good reporting skills, solid negotiation skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and excellent decision making skills
Permanent staff position, Perth CBD location with some site travel
