Mineral sands operation preparing to commence mining operations on their streamlines in mid-2012. Located in the Mallee Region around 150km east of Adelaide, utilising their proposed mining method, they will be producing around 120,000 tonnes of mineral concentrate per year.

The site requires an experienced mine surveyor. Reporting to the Mining Manager you will perform and coordinate all surveying processes on the mine site.

You will be responsible for;

• Developing the surveying capacity on site
• Work closely with the technical teams to ensure mine quality, safety and production targets are met
• Daily, weekly and monthly progress plans
• All surveying activities including set out of pit line
• Maintenance of GPS positioning devices on mobile equipment
• Set out and pickup of rehabilitation areas

You will demonstrate a thorough knowledge of mining and survey software, promote safety and awareness amongst staff and contract personnel on site and ensure compliance with company environmental policies and procedures.
