Civil Project Manager - $35M Haul Road

• $180,000 + Super + vehicle

• 14 / 7 roster - 30% LAFA - FIFO

One of Australia’s largest and most successful contractors has an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to deliver coal seam infrastructure work in Central Queensland. Over the next five years Billions worth of construction will be delivered, work includes: Access roads, dams, waste water treatment plant, a power station, services and large scale concrete structures / marine and land reclamation works.


The project is located south west of Townsville it consists of a $35M Haul road, while working closely with the mining company you will have engineering support as well as onsite supervision of labourers, suppliers and local contractors. There will be live traffic flowing through the site and plenty of mine activity in and around the site we require a proven track record of delivering similar style projects involving: Earthworks, drainage, small structures and pavements.


You will have functional authority for all aspects of the project and be responsible for:

• Liaising with client & Main Roads
• Review of contract documentation
• Monitoring costs against budget
• Claim administration

Civil Engineering qualifications are essential as well as previous experience dealing with governments bodies such as the Department of Main Roads. Upon completion of this project a position will be available in Brisbane helping deliver infrastructure projects in south east Queensland.
