Position: Diesel Mechanic - Civil Construction DRC

Area: Johannesburg - with ex pat status Kibali - DRC Or Congolese Citizen

Salary: Negotiable

Position Overview:

One of South Africa’s leading Civil Construction Company is urgently on the lookout for the skills and expertise of a Diesel Mechanic with EXPAT or a Congolese for a project in the DRC. If you do not have Civils/mining experience please do not apply.

Qualification

• Qualified Artisan with Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in the Field

Experience & Key Performance Area’s

The plant is mainly Caterpillar and we need to find people with experience in rebuilding and maintenance of the following equipment:

• Cat ADT’s
• Cat Loaders
• Cat Graders
• Cat Excavators
• Cat Dozers.
• Suitable candidates should have experience with all of the above equipment mentioned.
• Ability to effectively carry out servicing, preventive maintenance and repairs on construction and earth moving plant in site based workshop.
• Completing and submitting daily time sheets.
• Good understanding of safety and safe working procedures.
• Good technical knowledge associated with plant servicing repairs and maintenance.
• Must be able to work under supervision and take instruction from Foreman.
• Ideally Congolese with English Capability
