Responsibilities:
- In this position you will be involved with project management of construction materials testing projects, including testing of soils, foundations, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing and asphalt pavement. Additional responsibilities include application of technical support, daily review of field reports, monitoring project process, performance and budgetary conditions, assisting with marketing to new and existing clients, proposal preparation, business development, as well as attending project site meetings and assisting with the resolution of both technical and administrative problems. You will also be involved with client/business development, and you should have an interest and some experience in marketing.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position you should have:
- Minimum of a BSCE or BS Geology, or an appropriate level of hands-on, field experience.
- 3-5 years of CMT experience.
- EIT desired; PE a plus.
- Proficiency in oral and written communications.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience managing technicians and construction materials testing projects, and a solid understanding of soil mechanics and evaluation techniques.
