Project Scientist/Engineer

• [Company] . is currently seeking a candidate to manage projects for environmental contamination assessments and remediation. The qualified candidate will have experience conducting and overseeing drilling operations, environmental sampling, mapping, planning conceptual site remedies, overseeing remediation system installations, and documenting field investigation procedures. Duties will include preparing cost proposals; managing project budgets, schedules, and personnel; the preparation of technical reports; interfacing with our clients; business development; and other duties, as assigned. The position will be out of our Tampa, Florida office.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a BS or MS in Environmental Science, Geology, or Geologic Engineering with 10 years’ experience conducting field investigations and managing projects.
• Strong background in managing projects for environmental contamination assessments and remediation.
• Thorough experience conducting and overseeing drilling operations, environmental sampling, and mapping.
• Possess a strong background in planning conceptual site remedies, overseeing remediation system installations, and documenting field investigation procedures.
• Strong connections and experience in Florida.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and willingness to commitment to coworkers, clients, and project objectives.
