Horizon Oil Sands
Horizon Oil Sands is an exciting part of our growth. Full production capacity for Phase 1 is 110,000 bbl/d of fully upgraded, light, sweet synthetic crude oil. We will see incremental production gains throughout the completion of future expansion and debottlenecking, with targeted full facility capacity of approximately 250,000 bbl/d. Further phases of expansion will bring the ultimate capacity to 500,000 bbl/d.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Administrative Assistant will provide business services and administrative support, managing, coordinating and monitoring day to day activities for the acute care operation of the Horizon Health Centre.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK?
• Provide reception duties for the Horizon Health Centre
• Scan and link medical documents into Medgate (medical database system)
• Prepare and arrange for the shipment of Biohazardous Waste per contract arrangements
• Monitor inventory and order the supply of medical gases to support the need of both the clinic and EMS (Emergency Medical Services)
• Prepare weekly orders for medication and medical supplies to support the need of both the clinic and EMS
• Responsible for ensuring clinic vehicles and fire extinguishers receive the properly scheduled maintenance
• Provide relief to EMS Administrative Assistant during absence
• Maintain supply of routine office supplies for Horizon Health Centre including items supplied by the Warehouse (ie. booties, batteries)
• Prepare ISRs (Information Systems Requests) as required to support the needs of the Horizon Health Centre
• Arrange for tickets within Remedy for clinic infrastructure needs
• Arrange for travel of business unit members as required
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly statistical reports
• Create and maintain various spreadsheets and processes related to the Horizon Health Centre
• Coordinate internal clinic meetings, records and distributes minutes
• Prepare expense reports and inputs requisitions in the Enterprise One system
• Provide relief in the absence of the Administrative Assistant Occupational Health Services
• Provide Authorization Forms to CNRL Employees for the Occupational Vision Care Program
• Arrange for courier pickup and delivery of packages, some of which may be of a time sensitive nature
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Typically 2+ years of related industry experience with High school diploma or GED; formal clerical training preferred
• Familiarity with and understanding of:
o Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
o Medical terminology and health care
o Working with confidential material
o Working in an Oil and Gas environment
