Open Cut Examiner/Supervisor - Coal Mining - Central Queensland - Up to $200k

Due to an internal move they are looking for an experienced Open Cut Examiner / Supervisor to be based on their site in Central Queensland.


As the Open Cut Examiner you role will include:

• Monitoring, inspecting and reporting across mining operations to ensure all activities and conditions are safe, compliant with relevant legislation and the Mines SHEC requirements
• Provide technical knowledge for correct drilling and blasting procedures
• Assisting with accident and incident investigations (including risk assessments)
• Identify areas of improvements to ensure efficiency
• Supervision of production crews

To be considered for the role of Open Cut Examiner you will require

• Queensland OCE Statutory Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an open cut mining environment
• Candidates must hold a current QLD Coal Board Medical, Generic   Coal Surface Induction, S1/2/3
• Safety focused with strong communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of Queensland coal legislative requirements
