Laboratory Supervisor

• To be responsible for supervising ad directing the analysis of Product
• Responsible for Setting up New Laboratory for both wet chemistry and instrumentation analysis.
• Supervise the routine analysis of finished products, raw materials etc., using a variety of methods (precipitation, titration and distillation) and laboratory instruments (XRF and ICP)

Minimum Requirements

• 5 to 10 years experience (mining)
• BSc in Analytical Chemistry ESSENTIAL

Job Specification

• Supervise the cleaning of lab and lab equipment
• Ensure necessary equipment is sterilized
• Assist the lab staff as directed
• Report findings to GM

Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrable business success in a lab or analysis environment
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• 5 to 10 years experience in a similar environment  (mining)
• Demonstrable ability to set up new laboratory for both wet chemistry and instrumentation analysis
• Understanding of material flow from the pit to the Load Out Station
• Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Analytical Chemistry Essential
