Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

• [Company] , located in Van Wert, OH has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cost reduction projects, maintaining all production standard work and production documentation, drive continuous improvements, and improve plant/work cell layouts.
• In addition, the successful candidate will managing routings, Bill of Materials, and Enterprise Resource Plan, as well as participate in ergonomics team meetings, root cause customer returns, and mentor co-ops, interns, and technicians within the department.
• The position also includes full cycle project management within capital equipment projects,
• analyzing manufacturing data, identifying adverse conditions, and make recommendations for improvement while ensuring processes meet Environmental, Safety, and Health & regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors in engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
• 1-2 years previous engineering work experience in a manufacturing environment.

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)

• Bachelors degree required.
• Must be able to work in the US without company sponsorship.
