THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Operator will start up and shut down, maintain and optimize all facilities and wells without supervision by employing the company safety and operating procedures.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK?
• Analyze production / cost data and make appropriate decisions or recommendations
• Monitor and implement cost reduction ideas while achieving 99% run time on all production and equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform minor repairs and servicing
• Obtain and/or update all required industry certification:
o H2S Alive
o ATV Operation
o Confined Space Entry
o Ground Disturbance
o Spill Responder
o Emergency Response Planning Training, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Typically 5+ years of related industry experience with Grade 12 or GED
• Valid Alberta Class 5 Operator’s license
• Familiarity with and understanding of:
o Field operations
o Piping configurations
o Equipment limitations
o Standard operating procedures
o Industry safety policies and goals
o Working with computers

The plant work schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off (12 hr shifts) with a rotating day/night shift schedule. The field work schedule is 8 days on 6 days off (10 hr shifts) with after hours on-call responsibilities for wells and facilities.
