IT Support Technician (Help Desk)

Job Overview

• Provide exceptional Customer Service and Technical Support to both internal and external customers through problem analysis and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Respond to questions that arrive via IT Help Ticket, phone, voice mail, email and sometimes in person.
• Assist with the execution of hardware, software and OS installations and upgrades as instructed by Network Systems and Services.
• Quality Assurance check of all laptops and desktops prior to issuance.
• Creation of Lotus Notes ID’s and Blackberry activation.
• Liaison to Global [Company] Help Desks for IT related systems problems.
• Stay informed of trends in PC hardware and software, troubleshooting, automation technologies and other business changes that could affect PC service and support.
• Continually develop and maintain technical skills through education and research to ensure high quality levels of technical support for the customers.
