This position will suit a qualified Mechanical Engineer with a commercial background in Mining, Defence, Rail or Automotive sectors.
Here you will be developing new products and enhancing others for Heavy Engineering purposes. This involves custom equipment, vehicles and machinery.
You will need to have a keen eye for detail as well as practical experience in the field …and a sound realistic approach to addressing engineering challenges.
It goes without saying then that you will need to be safety conscious with a pragmatic design understanding. Meaning your CAD undertakings will actually work in real life!
Project Engineering experience is also valued. I.E. Specification, project management considerations and BOM for example.
A proactive mentality will also go down well. If you are the kind of person to identify issues before they arise and you can solve them through the course of completing tasks, then we'll be on the right track.
