Job Description:
- Conduct Training
- Recruiting / Interviewing / Hiring
- Performance Appraisals, and other employee actions
- Functional Development Forum: Mentoring / Sponsorship / Recommendations
- Retention – actions with specific personnel
- Take on at least 1 Functional Department assigned initiative per year
- Attend Project Reviews for assigned projects
- Functional audits for assigned projects: Home Office and Field
- Monthly Report reviews and periodic project status reviews for assigned projects
- Functional reviews / approvals of documents on behalf of Department manager, in accordance with Activity Quality Plan requirements ( for assigned projects )
- Project Front End Set-Up Support – for assigned projects
- Foster client relationships
- Office Functional Leadership Team – anticipate bi-weekly or monthly meetings of this Leadership Team.
Project Specific Duties:
- Assume same responsibilities as Project Contracts Manager on assigned Project, specifically for the initial front end phase of the Project, until full home office staffing is in place, and Project can be rolled over to less senior Project Contracts manager. Thereafter, provide support and oversight as required. Generally looking to take assistance to 50% of time or less within 6 months, if possible.
- Support Field Contracts manager with field staffing plans, Site Procedures, other discipline interface / coordination processes. Identify and source field personnel in support of staffing plan.
Basic Job Requirements
- 15 - 20+ years related experience - College degree preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Contract Law - required
- Thorough knowledge of Engineering, Procurement and Construction techniques with strong working knowledge of technical aspects. - required
