Mid-Level Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• The Reno [Company] office is seeking a mid-level engineer to storm water planning, prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications for water resource engineering projects.
• This position has the opportunity to lead into a senior engineer role in the future.
• This individual will interface with both internal and external clients and with contractors.

Basic/Required Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Experience in the civil design and construction of storm water systems, utilities, modeling, and hydraulics a plus.
• Demonstrated professional judgment, consistency and attention to detail.
• Proven strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must pass drug screen, background check, and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company’s driving (MVR) policy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong AutoCAD, and/or Microstation.
• Engineer-In-Training or Fundamentals of Engineering certification. (NV PE additional preference).
• Experience in preparing contract construction documents.
• GIS experience.
• Storm water quality analysis and design.

Physical Demands

• Field activities may require working in unfavorable weather conditions.
