Marketing Services Assistant
Position Summary
- The Administrative Assistant will provide assistance to the Sales & Marketing department. This position provides a high degree of professionalism and communication between executive(s), reporting staff and [Company] personnel.
Target Responsibilities
The Duties for this position, include, but are not limited to:
- Provides high degree of professionalism and communication between executive(s), reporting staff and [Company] personnel.
- Performs daily administrative responsibilities i.e. coordinating meetings, intercompany/external correspondence and communication with customers, sales representatives, product managers and/or vendors for executive and reporting staff.
- Data summarization/analysis for management reports and projects
- Assist in preparation of power point presentations for customers or vendors
- Track and reconcile department credit card purchases
- Handle all freight/mail incoming or outgoing for Marketing Services
- Order office / copier supplies, sort/distribute mail for Marketing Services
- Coordinates and distributes corporate marketing literature for presentations throughout all regions.
- Researches industry information using internet and/or trade journals.
- Update website(s) with new events, product announcements, etc.
- Design or coordinate design with vendor(s) on product flyer promotions
- Aid in the preparation and implementation of company trade shows; ie. setup of booth, giveaways, literature, etc.
- Assist in special projects as required on a daily basis
Minimum Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree and 2-3 years’ experience an administrative role and have knowledge of business language and excellent organizational skills. They must also possess executive judgment, tact, and diplomacy and must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
- We are looking for candidates with strong Adobe Creative Suite skills to include Illustrator, Photoshop and have knowledge in website and social media design. Candidate must have high degree of knowledge and skills in all Microsoft Office products (word, excel, power-point, access). Candidate is also required to lift objects up to 30 lbs.
