Senior Field Technician

Position Responsibilities:

• [Company] . is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Field Technician for our Spokane office to provide field support for a variety of projects. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting our geotechnical and environmental groups, including monitoring geotechnical field exploration activities and environmental sites, observing and documenting construction monitoring projects, conducting soil and groundwater sampling, and maintaining remediation systems. You will also be responsible for coordinating with subcontractors, performing laboratory testing, documenting field conditions and writing detailed field reports. This position will also provide field support for our natural resources group as needed.

Position Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent; Associates degree in a science field preferred. Minimum of six years of related technical experience. Completion of Nuclear Density Gauge training and 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER training preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be willing to travel for one to two days at a time typically and up to several weeks at a time occasionally. Requires ability to stand for long periods of time and repetitive lifting of 40 pounds. Ability to carry out general instructions as well as interpret and apply technical information. Valid driver’s license required.
