Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

From 180 offices worldwide, our more than 8,000 employees work with clients to manage their environmental and engineering activities in a technically sound, economically viable, and socially responsible manner.
• [Company] is currently seeking an EIT in the Duluth, MN, office.
• Candidate will be assigned to various geotechnical and/or geological projects that are managed or staffed by [Company] Duluth office.  Engineering duties may include geotechnical and environmental field exploration programs, laboratory testing of soils, and environmental sampling of soils and groundwater. 

Job Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelors degree and minimum of one year experience working in industry or consulting.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft office (Outlook, Word and Excel). 
• Experience with geotechnical investigations, geophysical investigations, soil classification, and/or environmental sampling of soil and water.
• Extensive travel required.
• Candidate must be eligible for employment status in U.S., possess a valid U.S. driver license, present a professional work appearance, interact well with the public, have excellent teamwork skills and pass a pre-employment physical including drug screening and criminal background check.
• Must have a vehicle that can be used for work purposes and a clean driving record. Candidate should be able to work outdoors and be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Extensive work related travel required.

Desired:

• OSHA 40 hour Hazwoper training, First Aid/CPR, CN Track Safety, MSHA, and OSHA 10 hour construction safety are a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD, gINT, pile analysis and slope stability analysis also desirable.
