Senior Pit Slope Rock Mechanics Engineer

• [Company] is currently seeking a Senior Pit Slope Rock Mechanics Engineer for the Reno office.

Responsibilities include:

• Undertake pit slope design studies and other geotechnical/geological related projects, predominantly in the mining industry, for [Company] Reno and other offices. Work will include periodic travel to remote locations within the US and internationally. Duties may include field data collection, field instrumentation and testing, data reduction and engineering analyses, and report writing.

Job Requirements:

• Masters or PhD in rock mechanics or related field and at least 10 years of experience with pit slope design.
