Director

Description: This role is responsible for bridging a newly acquired technology company within a very large and successful organizaion. This division will have a total of 20 people and reports to a VP of Operations. All support services (IT, HR and Marketing) would be handled by the head office.

 The responsibilities include:

• Manage client's growing technologies business in AB, BC and the Territories
• Manage mining technologies products and integrating services into existing client Technologies and hardware technology products
• Will be responsible for Western Canadian solutions, plus will have ownership for identifying and integrating new technologies that will complement and expand Client sales and Product Support capabilities.
• Operating from Edmonton, Calgary and greater Vancouver, will be working with the sales force to sell machine control solutions, rentals, services, parts and repairs to customers located across AB, BC and the Territories.
• Full P & L responsibility for revenues in excess of $10 million and ownership of developing and managing a comprehensive technologies sales and product support strategy.
• The Director will also have ultimate responsibility for organizational safety programs and goals and progressive people strategies to ensure development of a talented, focused entrepreneurial business. within the parent company.
• The Director will have 2 direct reports and approx. 20 indirect reports working in 3 branches.
