My client, a global engineering and environmental multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong presence in the UK are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (Rivers & Coastal to be based in Glasgow on a number of river asset improvement projects
The successful candidate will be a Rivers & Coastal Engineer with at least 4 years’ experience within a consultancy. You will be confident technically in a range of areas including:
• hydraulic structure and river engineering design
• feasibility studies for flood defence schemes
• computational modelling
• hydrological / hydraulic assessments
Education – MEng / MSc or similar and will be, ideally, be Chartered or approaching Chartership
This is an exciting opportunity for a Rivers & Coastal Engineer to join a leading, global consultancy and the role will involve:
• Feasibility studies
• Design of river defences
• Computational modelling
• Report writing
• Client liaison
• Mentoring junior members of staff
