Client:
Our client is an internationally renowned EPCM who provide specialized engineering solutions to the resources industry. Recently been awarded a major program management & study contract for a large West African iron ore project, they now require a Electrical Designer with strong HV experience to join the Perth team.

The scope of works for the study will entail the mine, non process infrastructure, rail & port infrastructure. The Perth team will be carrying out the ore handling plant area of the project.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience as Electrical Designer possessing relevant Drafting qualifications
• Previous EPCM experience essential. Strong mining & minerals processing experience a key requirement
• Ability to carry out the design of Electrical HV schematics/circuits from a basic conceptual engineering study. Also a strong background in producing electrical layout drawings, HV switchboards & MCCs
• Strong skills in Microstation V7. Both 2D & 3D modelling skills required
• Excellent team skills & ability to mentor Junior Designers
• Strong communication skills & decision making capabilities
