Technical Sales Consultant

Prominent National Technical Company has a superb position available for a Sales Consultant. Only South African citizens, who are suitably qualified, live in the applicable area and meet the requirements of the position are eligible to apply for this vacancy.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for supporting the sales team and Manager with administrative duties including internal sales. This involves the day to day coordination of all sales activities such as pricing of quotes the taking of orders from customer, faxing of orders, processing invoices and credit notes.

Requirements:
  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience within the mining industry 
  • Computer literate in Excel with good knowledge of all the other Office Packages and Pastel would be advantageous 
  • Must be able to ensure excellent customer services (taking orders, assisting with technical queries, customer complaints)
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and timely follow-up
  • Responsible for overall sales growth within identified region 
  • Receiving, recording, and communicating customer orders and queries
  • Ability to efficiently perform all administration and filing duties
  • Good people skills
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written and verbal)
  • Meticulous, accurate and well disciplined
  • Will be required to do mine medicals and induction
Person must reside in the Witbank or surrounding area.
