Senior Exploration Geologist
My Client is one of Australia's well established mining companies now looking to recruit an Senior Exploration Geologist. The role will involve working on an exciting mining project based in Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career with a rapidly expanding organization.
The responsibilities of the senior exploration geologist include:
Being highly involved in exploration and resource evaluation programs.
Supervising and coordinating drilling.
Logging of the drill core and chips.
Sampling and analysis.
Geological modeling and program design.
Provide supervision to junior geologists on site.
Managing and leading a team of exploration geologists.
The requirements of the senior exploration geologist are:
Degree in Geology or related discipline
Committed to safe work practices.
Profiency in MS word and mining software.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent management and leadership skills.
