Operations Project Lead

We are currently recruiting for staff positions in Canada (Alberta & British Columbia) leading project Ready For Operations (RFO) functions for our client, Fluor Industrial Services Canada. The Ready For Operations role involves providing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) discipline expertise within an EPC project team to facilitate smooth transition from FEED, Detail Design through commissioning and ramp up phases of the project. We invite only individuals qualified and experienced in O&M in industrial projects to apply.

 We are seeking Lead O&M Discipline Engineers who are self motivated team players, able to manage O&M Engineering Scope in the following areas:

• Operability & Maintainability reviews during PFD/P&ID and Layout development
• Assistance to Safety Case and Human Factors studies
• Reliability Engineering including RAM, RCM, FMEA & RBI
• Development of Preventative & Predictive Maintenance programs
• Population of CMMS
• Life Cycle Cost and OPEX Analysis
• Spare Part inventory analysis
• Technical Authoring of O&M Manuals and Commissioning Procedures

 Skills required include process & operations knowledge, PFD/P&ID literacy, systems design capability, maintenance technologies and project management skills. We are looking for seasoned professionals of 15 or more years for Lead positions.

 A background working on operating facilities and significant maintenance discipline experience preferably in oil & gas or mining industry is preferred. Only candidates who have previously worked within FEED or E&C teams on upstream capital projects as well as having field operations and maintenance experience need apply.
