A growing mid-tier gold producer based within Australia's most prosperous gold belt is in the process of expanding operations in order meet exciting growth expectations. Strong growth over the last 2 years through acquisitions and mine expansion has seen the organisation double gold production over the last 2 years, with the expectation of doubling this production again by the end of 2015. A major aspect of this growth period is extensive exploration of tenements in WA and further near mine exploration of satellite deposits, and the organisation are seeking 2 Senior Exploration Geologists to assist in the exploration programme development and execution. These tenements make up one of the largest holdings in the region.

These roles will work closely with the Exploration Manager in order to assist in project development and target generation, whilst providing leadership to a number of project and graduate geologists, and conducting detailed geological interpretation of results to define resource bodies within the region. 

Successful applicants will hold the following attributes:

• Degree qualification in geology or a similar subject
• Upwards of 5yrs experience in exploration geology
• Strong exposure to Archaean gold deposits
• The ability to design, implement and manage exploration programmes
• Previous supervisory experience 
• Good computer literacy with mining software 
• The ability to work in a team and individual environment

This role will be based residentially from Kalgoorlie on a 5/2 roster and will hold a superannuation of 11%, amongst other benefits.
