Exploration Geologist

Salary: £20000 - £27000

An independent Environmental and Geological Consultancy is recruiting an Exploration Geologist to work near Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity to work on Exploration Projects within the U.K and overseas.

Candidates will have a strong academic background in Geology or related degree subject and have relevant practical Exploration or mining Geology experience. It is expected that you can display recognition of preparing interpretive reports and hold site investigation experience.

Typical duties will include identification of rock and minerals, Geological field mapping, desktop study appraisals, contract preparation, design and co-ordination of minerals Exploration programmes and site investigations.
