Principal Engineer

COMMAND HAS AN IMMEDIATE ROLE IN PERTH FOR A PRINCIPAL PERMANENT WAY ENGINEER WITH A LEADING GLOBAL CONSULTANCY DELIVERING PLANNING, DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES.

The candidate must be capable of providing leadership and design, consultancy and technical services in Permanent Way particularly in the mining and resources sector and ensure the good management and delivery of projects to agreed time
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 10 years experience of a range of consultancy assignments within Permanent Way field with some significant periods in the mining/resources sector.
  • Experience in Plain line and Switch & Crossing
  • Demonstrated experience in a mixture of consulting and contracting environments, specialising in Permanent Way design and engineering including production of design drawings during or for feasibility, surveys, site supervision and outline detailed design.
  • Proficient in the use of Bentley InRail and MicroStation design software packages.
  • Experience in business development sales in the WA market, including identification of opportunities and prospects through to successful wins. Managing and developing client relationships.
  • Civil Engineering degree or Certificate in Civil Engineering or Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) in Civil Engineering or Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
