South Africa’s largest supplier of heavy-duty, auto-electrical components has an fantastic position available for a Store man. Only South African citizens, who are suitably qualified, live in the applicable area and meet the requirements of the position are eligible to apply for this vacancy.

This successful Firm requires a focused, strong, and decisive individual. The successful candidate would be responsible for controlling all receipts, issuing of goods and maintaining the stock register.

Requirements:

  • Matric/ Grade 12 certificate 
  • Minimum 4 years experience in Stock Control and Warehouse activities 
  • Has to be Computer literate on Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience on SAP would be highly beneficial
  • Must be proficient in all warehouse administration duties example accurate printing and controlling delivery notes 
  • Will be responsible for Transport Arrangements of goods to be dispatched 
  • Dispatching of Parts to Mines and other Customers 
  • Ensure consignment stock is correctly prepared and loaded for deliveries 
  • Ensure correct stock is dispatched according to delivery documentation 
  • Assist in stock take preparations, stock take activities and cycle counts 
  • Must be able to provide excellent customer service by professionally addressing customer invoice/order queries 
  • Accurate and correctly invoice customers and attend to order queries 
  • Will be responsible for all General Warehouse duties 
  • Knowledge of Housekeeping activities and regulatory requirements 
  • Allocates stacking in the warehouse 
  • Maintain product movement records 
  • Checks incoming and outgoing loads 
  • Knowledge of warehouse activities and regulatory requirements 
  • Identify hazards in the work area and report accordingly 
  • Must be willing to be on standby when required by roster 
  • Good problem solving abilities 
  • Successful candidate must be Friendly, helpful and presentable 
  • Applicant must reside in the Witbank or surrounding area.
