Coastal Engineer/Scientist Intern

• Golder Associates Inc. is seeking applicants for the position of Coastal Engineer/Scientist Intern to support Pacific Northwest Operations on multidisciplinary projects. This position will be located in our Redmond, Washington office.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team on coastal engineering projects.
• Geospatial database support (ESRI ArcGIS).
• Field research and sampling to support coastal projects.
• *nstrument deployment and maintenance support.
• Field report writing support.
• Data management and analysis (Excel, Matlab).

Job Requirements:

• Candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelors of Science program in Civil Engineering, Oceanography or related discipline with an emphasis in coastal processes.
• Previous job-related internship or other related experience a plus.
• The successful applicant will be self-motivating with strong communication (oral, written), analytical, and investigative skills.
• Candidate must be willing and able to travel to projects locally as required.
