Marketing Communications Coordinator
Description
- Responsible for leading the development and execution of integrated marketing communications programs globally with a strategic focus on assisting the market managers in key market development.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with local and global sales teams, corporate and satellite marketing departments as needed to develop and execute integrated marketing communications programs for specific markets as assigned.
- Interface with external vendors as required--advertising agencies, PR agencies, photographers, designers, printers and other external resources--in the development and implementation of specific marketing campaign tactics (literature, public relations, web, presentations, trade shows, direct mail, special events, e-marketing, etc.).
- Drive strong interdepartmental coordination and communication. Work with other cross-functional team members (Sales, Engineering, Customer Care, HR, etc.) as needed to advance product and market initiatives throughout the global organization.
- Identify areas for improvement within the internal marketing department processes to support the company’s overall objectives as they pertain to product launches, events and specific market needs.
- Assist in the development of all relevant content, from concept through completion, for market-specific marketing tools and materials as assigned. Ensure timely flow of projects and that all corporate graphic standards and guidelines are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or English preferred.
- Experience in marketing, public relations or advertising required. One to three years’ experience desired, but not required.
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills required.
- Must have computer skills and knowledge of relevant software including MS Office, Access, FileMaker and current Internet technologies. Indesign and Photoshop skills preferred.
- Ability to translate technical data into easy-to-understand sales language.
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills are required.
- Ability to communicate and interact with outside vendors, customers and sales force.
- Ability to travel as needed. 25% travel.
- Ability to meet deadlines, budgets and objectives and work as a team with other Marketing and cross department professionals.
- Ability to work independently when required as well as work well across regions/time zones as part of global team.
