Mining Engineer (Planning)| O/C Coal| upto $140k base+package

A key owner operator within the coal industry is seeking an ambitious Mining Engineer - (Planning) to join there new large open cut coal project . This role will offer a pathway for the right candidate to step into a Senior Mining Engineer position as the project evolves.


Your duties will include but not be limited to :
  • Assist as required in producing a Mine Operational Plan
  • Analyse data to produce realistic inputs into the open cut mine planning process
  • Life of Mine Planning
  • Reconciliation of performance against plan on a regular basis
  • Financial analyse
  • Develop standard work processes for mine planning.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Mining Engineering Degree
  • 2-3 years experience within open cut coal engineering and planning
  • Previous planning experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience within the Australian Coal industry operating as an engineer
