Planner Scheduler II-Subcontract

- [Company] . offers excellent benefits, a continual focus on training and development and a financially sound company in a growing industry. We are currently looking to add a Planner Scheduler II -Subcontract Dept. to our National Avenue, Milwaukee WI location.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coordination of material supply to subcontractors
- Material allocation, receipts and disbursements of material, error list corrections, expediting material to subcontractors
- Assist subcontractor with shortages, returned or damaged material
- Allocate material to appropriate customer orders according to due dates
- Balancing various manufacturing requirements with available capacity
- Monitor and report manufacturing status of global suppliers
- Participation in Production Meetings as required
Qualifications:
- BS in Operations Management, Materials Management, Inventory Management or equivalent work experience is required
- 2-3 years of production planning and scheduling experience preferred
- SAP system knowledge
- General knowledge of manufacturing processes including welding, machining and assembly
- Understanding of MRP, Bill of Materials, shop routings, blueprints, and material flow
- Effective organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- ISM or APICS certification preferred (CPIM, CPM, etc)
