Planner Scheduler II-Subcontract

• [Company] . offers excellent benefits, a continual focus on training and development and a financially sound company in a growing industry.  We are currently looking to add a Planner Scheduler II -Subcontract Dept. to our National Avenue, Milwaukee WI location.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coordination of material supply to subcontractors
• Material allocation, receipts and disbursements of material, error list corrections, expediting material to subcontractors
• Assist subcontractor with shortages, returned or damaged material
• Allocate material to appropriate customer orders according to due dates
• Balancing various manufacturing requirements with available capacity
• Monitor and report manufacturing status of global suppliers
• Participation in Production Meetings as required

Qualifications:

• BS in Operations Management, Materials Management, Inventory Management or equivalent work experience is required
• 2-3 years of production planning and scheduling experience preferred
• SAP system knowledge
• General knowledge of manufacturing processes including welding, machining and assembly
• Understanding of MRP, Bill of Materials, shop routings, blueprints, and material flow
• Effective organizational skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• ISM or APICS certification preferred (CPIM, CPM, etc)
