Lead Mechanical Engineer

Our client is an national EPCM Consultancy, and are among the few who can honestly say their vision of growth has become a reality having established new, solid relationships with MAJOR Mining houses and being awarded key projects within both the Australian and global markets. Projects range from prototype development plants to world-class Greenfield projects located in Australia and overseas.
 
Due to the company's involvement in a number of new projects, an opportunity is now available for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their Brisbane based process team.
 
Reporting to the Manager of Process, the ideal candidate will display the following:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications  
• Minimum 10 years design experience in base metals and precious metals 
• Experience with beneficiation and extraction, especially with gold, silver and copper  
• Commissioning or operations experience in mineral processing plants is desired
• Previous work experience with EPCM companies that specialise in minerals processing
• Proven experience leading a team 
• Ability to work as part of a team
