Senior Exploration Geologist

We are looking for a Senior Exploration Geologist to join a progressive mining company that continues to expand its operations both production and exploration

This Senior Exploration Geologist role will see you reporting to the Exploration Manager who is based in Perth.

You will be responsible for all aspects of exploration that will include greenfields, near mine, tenement management, reporting and mentoring junior staff members.

You will have the following experience:-
  • Tertiary qualified in Geology or related
  • Minimum 5 years base metals exploration
  • 10 years experience in Exploration
  • Must have surpac or data mine experience
  • Modelling experience will be highly regarded
  • Ability to manage, design and supervise exploration programs
  • Geophysical and geochemical experience
  • Ability to develop exploration strategy
  • Supervise all aspects of exploration on site
  • Previous experience with detailed exploration program proposals, budgets, schedules and program permitting.
  • Strong ability to develop Project evaluations
  • Exceptional communication skills
