Senior Risk Analyst

Overview
Large multinational mining house seeks a senior risk analyst to work in Mozambique for various projects in Africa, Australia, Zambia and Indonesia.

Job Specification:
  • Risk management and performance analysis (qualitative and quantitative) in portfolio projects in Africa, Australia, Zambia and Indonesia;
  • Ensure the monitoring of the implementation of the delegated activities within specified time limits, identifying possible gaps in programming and deadlines, as well as activities and ensure the implementation of corrective actions;
Management support, and control of the following:
  • planning,  budget,  governance,   risk management and  contracts in the framework of the development of projects, aiming at the guarantee application of the methodology and procedure established by the DIPC, in accordance with the assumptions of delivery and quality laid down next to PMO;
  • Refine and disseminate risk management techniques in accordance with FEL methodology and DIPC procedures (PR-E-200);
  • Act together to projects for the implementation of remedial actions for deviations and negative trends;
  • Check the adhesion by projects to integrated risk analysis process as management model;
  • Manage risk mitigation; Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of the action plans.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Degree in engineering
  • Tertiary Project Management qualification, will be working with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in large projects, preferable industrial companies
  • Working on quantitative risk analysis tools (Monte Carlo, Perth master, etc.)
Skills:
  • Proficient in English, strong teamwork ability, objectivity and commitment to targets
  • Adaptability, flexibility, expertise, result oriented and interpersonal relationship ability
  • Systemic vision, orientation towards processes and walk the talk
