SMPP Senior Estimator

Minimum Requirements

  • You will be required to receive and anaylse tender documents, prepare full estimate including preparing supplier / subcontractor tender documents, obtaining all prices necessary. 
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, P&ID's specifications etc.
  • Must have sound understanding of estimating norms and the factors that need to be applied o suit Africa's unique challenges. Must be able to attend and actively participate in various meetings including any pre award clarifications that may be necessary.
  • Technical Engineering qualification
  • 10-15 yrs exp in the SMPP contracting environment (Mining & Petrochemical)Candy & Winqs 
  • Self starter, be able to travel for site inspections (SA & Africa)
  • Mut be able to work under pressure of tight deadlines including overtime and weekend work as necessary.
  • Numeric accuracy
  • Good understanding of FEDIC and NEC 3 contract documents
