Construction Manager

One of the world's largest Gold companies with a number of operations in the Goldfields and across the globe are seeking to appoint a Construction Manager to their team. Current exploration and feasibility has shown an exciting future for the company. In particular a long running Gold operation is now to be expanded.

Working Client side as their Construction Manager you will be responsible for overseeing a number of projects including the construction and installation of a $5 million Dewatering Pumping and Piping system. After these initial projects you will be responsible for planning the expansion of the Mine and it's related infrastructure. Initially this will be a Fly In Fly Out based in the Goldfields, it will move back to a city role and the remainder of the project will again be FIFO.

An experienced Construction professional is needed for this contract role to ensure all tasks are planned and managed accordingly. Contractors will need to be awarded and managed and therefore a strong knowledge of the Australian contractor market is essential.

You will be commercially savvy and have a history of overseeing successful expansion projects here in Australia. Ideally a mechanical background is sought and you will be rewarded with an excellent contract rate, exciting projects to manage and the opportunity to join one of the world's largest Gold Mining companies.
