We are currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join a design consultant firm based in Newcastle.

Our client offers end to end Transmission & Distribution services and related civil-structural engineering across a range of utilities, mining operators and civil engineering companies across West and East Australia.

Looking for an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join the design team:

• A good technical understanding of Transmission and Distribution structures- strong design experience - towers, poles etc
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skill
• Client liaison and management of relationships within the Utility/Energy sector
• Delivering to agreed deadline
• Ability to write clear concise report
• Excellent communication skills

To be eligible for this position you will have:

• 3-4 years experience preferably in civil/structural roles - transmission/electrical utility structures
• Civil/structural Engineering degree and/or qualification
• Australian based and/or working rights for Australia - 457 visa transfer can be consider - domestic relocation will be supported.
• Common structural software packages (PLS-CADD, Autocad, S-Frame etc)
