Summary

The Prince George branch is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Machinist. The incumbent will be responsible for the machining of hydraulic cylinder components, as well as general machining .

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture of variety of hydraulic cylinder components, barrels, rods, heads and pistons.
• Able to read drawings/sketches.
• Work with minimal direction or supervision.
• Manufacture of new components for sawmill canter lines, manufacture new components for planer mills, new components for chippers.
• Rebuild components for sawmill canter lines, rebuild components for planer mills, rebuild components for chippers.
• Working on horizontal boring mill.
• Working on vertical milling machine.
• Working on lathe.
• Working on CNC turning center.
• Working on cylindrical and surface grinders.

Skills

• Able to read drawings/sketches.
• Work with minimal direction or supervision.
• Comfortable working on very large cylinder component's from mining equipment.
• Welding experience would be an asset.
• Responsible to adhere to our heath and safety programs.
