Intern - Quality

Job Description

• Eaton Corporation in Searcy, AR is excited to announce a Quality Engineer Intern opportunity. This position will support the Quality department in ISO 9001-2008 compliance, Statistics, Team leadership and Problem solving.

Primary responsibilities of the role will include:

• Statistics: Through the use of various data collection methods, develop hypothesis and test these hypotheses against real world situations in an effort to solve variation that is causing errors in machining and assembly departments
• Team leadership: Lead a continuous improvement team of 5-10 people in using metrics to improve their work area.
• Problem Solving: Use skills such as A-3, 5-why’s, Pareto etc. to solve on-going problems in the areas of machining and assembly.

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
Education:

• Current Undergraduate or Graduate student in Engineering
• At least 30 credit hours completed (sophomore standing)
• GPA: 3.0

Experience:

• No previous working experience necessary.

Communication and Other Skills:

• Ability to organize and prioritize projects
• Prior use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
