Safety & Training Coordinator
Reporting to the Health, Safety Training Superintendent, you will assist with all aspects of promoting a strong safety culture across the operation. You will assist in the provision of safety advice, training, site inductions, initiatives and associated materials.
You will liaise with operations personnel, contractors, communities, local stakeholders and government departments.
Skills and experience required:
- Suitably degree qualified or min. Cert IV Training and Assessing or OHS.
- 5+ yrs HSE experience in a similar coal mining operation
- Experience in providing competency based safety training and advice, risk assessment s and training programs.
- Knowledge of QLD Coal Mining legislation
- Background in safety for mining, civil or heavy industries.
