- Continuous Improvement Site Facilitator
- (Referred to as the BEx Site Facilitator)
Position Summary:
- The Site Facilitator will be responsible for facilitating the deployment of Business Excellence (BEx) implementation stages across the site.
- [Company] is currently transforming the way it does business through BEx. BEx is a holistic and systematic approach to delivering continuous improvement across IPL. Our goal is that BEx will drive a culture of excellence amongst our people and entrench best practice continuous improvement as a way of life.
- This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your prior experience in continuous improvement principles (Six Sigma, Lean, TPM, TQM, etc.) and your knowledge of manufacturing business systems and the chemical process.
Essential Functions:
- Educating and coaching site personnel on BEx to assist in establishing a Company culture that drives business excellence.
- Working with site teams to identify improvement opportunities through the application of BEx.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable HSE Performance Standards.
- Engaging key stakeholders through the provision of information, education, and coaching on BEx content.
- Engaging with, and participating in, the BEx Site Steering Committee and Site Management Team.
- Managing Site Trainers and coordinating with Area BEx Facilitators.
- Consistently driving change through a focus on continuous improvement.
- Preparing reports and communicating updates as required on BEx deployment status.
- Other duties may be assigned within the capabilities of the successful candidate, as determined by management.
Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification.
- Strong business analysis and process improvement skills.
- Demonstrated Project Management expertise.
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience in facilitating training.
- A high level competence in Microsoft Excel is desirable.
- Experience in designing program material would be advantageous.
- The ability to build strong internal customer relationships and influence at all levels.
- Knowledge of one or more of the Continuous Improvement principles.
