Responsibilities:
- The Chantilly office of ECS is our largest branch office. It is also the location of our corporate headquarters. As such, if hired for this position, you will be involved and exposed to some of the largest and most technically challenging projects with which the firm is involved. You will be involved with management of geotechnical explorations, which consist of performing boring layouts, clearing utilities, supervising drilling operations, performing geophysical surveys, classifying soils, assigning lab testing, and preparing geotechnical reports. Projects include a wide variety of sites, from residential developments to large industrial, institutional and government facilities. Additional responsibilities include assisting Senior Staff in marketing, preparing proposals, maintaining a client database, and managing budget proposals and invoices.
Qualifications:
- BS in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- MS in geotechnical engineering strongly preferred.
- 0-2 years related experience.
- Proficiency in oral or written communication.
- Strong interest in project management.
- EIT required and candidates must be on a PE track.
