Manufacturing Programs Manager

Job Description

• Eaton Corporation - Hydraulics Group has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Program Manager. This position will be located at the Hydraulics Group Headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN.

The primary functions of this role are to:

• Design, manage and implement key manufacturing localization projects aimed at balancing our manufacturing footprint globally
• Co-develop overall product line manufacturing strategies in conjunction with PGTs
• Lead the resolution of strategic manufacturing issues globally such as capacity balancing / capital investment recommendations across regions
• Serve as the manufacturing specialist for the product division aiding the PGTs and NPD teams.

In addition, the key responsibilities of this position are:

• Design comprehensive product line localization 5-year plan across regions for each product line including detail on capital needs
• Work with regional plants, SCM and PGTs to develop business cases and CARs for each localization project. Present and seek approvals from senior management
• Work with regional plants and project management to drive on-time on-quality execution of localization projects including development of resource plan, capital plan and time lines. Publish status through monthly scorecard.
• Lead the resolution of strategic manufacturing issues globally including developing the investment roadmap and localization plans for product lines with redundant capability across multiple regions
• Lead the implementation of manufacturing programs associated with Alliances (e.g. Linde alliance)
• Serve as the manufacturing specialist for the product division aiding the PGTs and NPD teams (including cost out initiatives / VAVE)
• Develop and maintain product division’s global capital plan (associated with growth and new initiatives)

Position Criteria:

• Strong business acumen
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly processes associated with hydraulic component manufacturing assembly

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA from an accredited institution
• Experience leading cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
• Experience working in a manufacturing facility

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years working for a manufacturing company is required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
