Our client is a leading machinery dealer in the CIS and Mongolia regions.  They sell and rent quality equipment to the mining, construction, road and railroad construction, infrastructure, agricultural, energy, and the industrial industries of Mongolia.
 
Due to the continued growth in the mining industry they have an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager for their Mongolian operation.
 
Reporting to the Product Support Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our Client’s at site with responsibility for the performance of:
  • Developing a Strong Customer Relationship that enhances business and growth by exceeding Customer expectations 
  • The support contract to supply manpower for the maintenance of mobile mining equipment currently under assembly 
  • The Material Supply Agreement 
  • The onsite Rental and Product Support team on the construction project and open pit operation 
  • Co-Ordinating with both internal and external Senior Management on any product, service & parts issues and Dealer / Customer initiatives 
  • Performance of onsite Company manpower and Health and Safety 
 To be considered for this opportunity you should possess the relevant mechanical qualifications. Previous mining experience is essential. Previous dealership experience (OEM) is preferred, along with a background in Project Management. Experience working as an expatriate will be highly regarded, but is not essential.

You will be offered a 3 year renewable contract based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Residential family status accommodation will be supplied. If required, schooling will be provided by the Company at an International school in Ulaanbaatar. You will operate off a 5x2 days FIFO roster to site, returning to UB for your days off.
 
Mongolia – the land of Genghis Khan; the world’s last nomads and the Great Gobi desert and grasslands.  Ulaanbaatar is the capital of Mongolia and boasts a thriving population.  Services and facilities include cultural and tourist attractions, festivals, museums, international schools, shopping precincts, night clubs and restaurants and various sporting clubs.  There are established communities in the city which can provide a welcome and advice to new residents; all making your stay in Mongolia more enjoyable.
