Underground Mine Surveyor

Our client is an ASX listed mining company with mining operations and exploration across Australia and overseas. Due to internal promotions an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mine Surveyor has now become available in their WA operation. This is a professionally challenging yet rewarding role, suitable for someone who wants to be a part of a dedicated mining team and reach new professional milestones.
 
In this role you will be responsible for surveying their flagship underground operation whilst working with the technical team and contractors to maximise attainment of safety and production targets at all times. Your main duties will include managing and maintaining the survey control data base for the underground operation, surveying of all mine headings and voids to produce plans and volumes, and end of month survey reports for management and contractors.
 
To be successful in this role, knowledge of Surpac software would be an advantage, a good manner and communication with site personnel is essential as well as a tertiary Degree or Diploma in Mining or Engineering Surveying.
