Electrical Engineering Manager

• Qualified Electrical Engineer with RPEQ status (or eligible to achieve)
• Proven background in heavy industrial processing industries within Australian
• Brisbane based with a salary of $140,000 negotiable

A privately owned electrical engineering consultancy, specialising in design and drafting across a number of heavy industry sectors including Mining and Petrochemical, are looking for an additional team member. This small, dynamic team is based in Brisbane and is experiencing considerable, consistent growth. TECHNICAL SKILLS 

• Hazardous Area Training certification
• Ability to manage a team of Engineers and Graduates
• New business development and client liaison
• Knowledge of drafting, design and control systems
• Technically minded with the ability to read engineering drawings and plans
• Proactive implementation and improvement of systems and procedures, including Safety, Quality Assurance and Service.
• Capable with internal accounts, auditing, invoicing and budget maintenance

PERSONAL SKILLS 

• A positive, forward thinker, willing to utilize your skill set
• A mature attitude and strong work ethic are essential
• The ability to work accurately, in a timely manner and within budget must be demonstrated in previous working environment
• Task focused, with a determination to achieve goals to the highest standards
• Ability to perform under pressure, multi task and schedule workloads
• Flexible, confident an comfortable in a leadership role
• Highly effective communication skills, professional manner and attitude
