Resource Geologist

Position Summary:

• Resource Geologist is primarily responsible for carrying out resource estimation and resource modelling and working with geostatistics, audits, due diligence studies, feasibility studies and technical reports.
• Duties/Responsibilities:
• Carrying out resource estimation.
• Working with geostatistics, audits, due diligence studies, feasibility studies and technical reports.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Geology
• Preferably a registered Professional Geologist
• Post Graduate Qualifications will be highly regarded.
• Extensive practical experience in both open pit and underground mine geology including grade control, resource definition and exploration drilling, database management and geostatistics
• Strong skills in geostatistics and variography and familiarity with the various international reporting standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication, management and interpretative skills are essential.
• Strong software skills
